Action Bays 1-7
These ranges are our newest ranges for competitive shooting and organized training and skill building. There are various dimensions for each bay by design to enhance safety and for the appropriate type of shooting. These ranges will be utilized at the sole discretion of the range staff or designated visiting Competitive Range Officers or Instructors. Important to note, that Secret Bay 7, (designated in the above picture in black) will only be utilized after normal operational hours, under close and direct supervision for official matches and training only. These bays are for small arms usage unless approved by range staff or Instructors. Props, barricades and or reactive steel may be used during the course of events. Loading and unloading of firearms will be designated by RO’s and instructors as per organizational rules or by training protocols.
This range began construction in 2004 and finalized in 2014. This is our high power static rifle range. Targets are only to be posted at the 100, 200 and 300 yards or meters. There are 20 fixed shooting positions within the shooting pavilion as well as a prone shooting area to the right of the pavilion. No pistols are to be fired on this range unless supervised and approved by range staff or management. All shooters may commence firing under the pavilion while retrieving their firearms from the shooting bench while prone or sitting in each lane. No loaded firearms will be permitted to be removed from their respective lanes. Nor, will shooters fire across their lanes. All Loading and unloading of firearms will be conducted at the shooting lane. Rifle or Muzzleloader barrels must be pointed down range and under the barrel baffle to commence firing. Targets will be posted only when a cease-fire has been called at various distances designated by range design. Approved Steel targets may be posted with permission of range management. Range Dimensions are approximately 150 feet wide by out to 300 meters deep.
Sierra Bay
Zulu Bay
This range is also a multi purpose range designed for various styles of shooting and training. This range is designed for ALL target stands, targets and or props to be posted at the end of the range closest to the bullet impact area. Shooters may move accordingly to shoot static or dynamically understanding all safety rules and with permission of the range staff. At no time will shooters place targets on the range deck floor or on the side berms. Firearms permitted will be any handgun, shotgun for patterning or defensive shooting and carbine or rifle fire on posted targets. High caliber rifles may be used for zeroing on this range only. All Loading and unloading of firearms will be conducted at the shooting position designated and not at the pavilion. No loaded firearms may be allowed up range unless holstered or with permission of the range staff or management. Range Dimensions are approximately 100ft wide by 50 yards deep. Constructed 2005.
Yankee Bay
This range is also a multi purpose range designed for various styles of shooting and training. This range is designed for ALL target stands, targets and or props to be posted at the end of the range closest to the bullet impact area. Shooters may move accordingly to shoot static or dynamically understanding all safety rules and with permission of the range staff. At no time will shooters place targets on the range deck floor or on the side berms. Firearms permitted will be any handgun, shotgun for patterning or defensive shooting and carbine or rifle fire on posted targets. High caliber rifles may be used for zeroing on this range only. Blackwater Bay
This range is one of our original range designs for “Official Training Only”. All shooters must be directly under the supervision of an instructor or range staff to utilize this range. The Blackwater bear system is constructed of AR 500 steel and has multiple turning and pop up targets as well as up to two running targets with many accessory steel plates and props. ALL steel targets on this range will be used with small arms ammunition only, NO High Caliber Rifle rounds are permitted. If you would like to utilize the steel targets, it is available for rental depending on our training schedule, weather and manning. Range Dimensions are 120 feet by 50 yards deep. Constructed 2006.
Whiskey Bay
This range was designed with private group training and events in mind. We currently use this range for MIL/LE training and other events. This range is also used as an overflow for daily usage and competitive training. Designed as a multipurpose range, all targets being posted at the end of the range, closest to the impact area. Shooters may move down range to reach their shooting position or under supervision of the range staff shoot dynamically in accordance with all safety protocols and with management approval. This range is for “Flat Work” meaning carbine, shotgun and handgun only. Unless otherwise approved by Range Staff and or Management. The range dimensions of this range are approximately 200 feet wide by 75 yards deep. Parking may be permitted up range due to traffic and capacity. Constructed 2016.
Bravo Bay
This range is also a multi purpose range designed for various styles of shooting and training. This range is designed for ALL target stands, targets and or props to be posted at the end of the range closest to the bullet impact area. Shooters may move accordingly to shoot static or dynamically understanding all safety rules and with permission of the range staff. At no time will shooters place targets on the range deck floor or on the side berms. Firearms permitted will be any handgun, shotgun for patterning or defensive shooting and carbine or rifle fire on posted targets. High caliber rifles may be used for zeroing on this range only. Range Dimensions are approximately 100ft wide by 50 yards deep. Constructed 2016.
Alpha Bay
This range is a multi purpose range designed for various styles of shooting and training. This range is designed for ALL target stands, targets and or props to be posted at the end of the range closest to the bullet impact area. Shooters may move accordingly to shoot static or dynamically understanding all safety rules and with permission of the range staff. At no time will shooters place targets on the range deck floor or on the side berms. Firearms permitted will be any handgun, shotgun for patterning or defensive shooting and carbine or rifle fire on posted targets. High caliber rifles may be used for zeroing on this range only. Range Dimensions are approximately 90ft wide by 50 yards deep. All steel or other responsive targets must be approved prior to firing. Constructed 2016.
Targets and Target Stands
Wood and other materials for stands and props are expensive. if you intentionally choose to fire upon any props, barricades or target stands, barrel baffles or anything else that is not an intended target; there will be a request for your immediate removal of the range and fees may be imposed for your negligence or apathy. Be responsible, shoot your intended targets.
