- All climbers must sign in at the front desk desk.
- The last climb is one hour prior to closing.
- Climbing is only permitted during open wall hours and with staff supervision.
- All top-ropers, staff and non-staff belayers, lead climbers, and lead belayers must be certified prior to climbing.
- All climbers must tie-in using a figure 8 with a fisherman’s knot as backup.
- Standing position is required during belaying.
- Fitness center equipment must be used at all times. Both feet must be below the marked line while bouldering.

Certification
Climbers must present a picture I.D. to the climbing wall attendant. The attendant will locate the climber’s name in the file and confirm that the climber is currently permitted to climb. The desk attendant will then give the climber his or her belay card. The climber must display this card clipped to the harness when climbing or belaying.
Passing of Tags
All participants must wear a tag noting that they have been trained to use the climbing facility. Anyone found lending a tag to others will be suspended from the wall. Other disciplinary action is at the discretion of the Facility Director or his designee.
Climbing Area Rules
- Do not walk between active belayer and wall.

- The climber must check the belay setup, and the belayer must check the climber setup.
- Commands must be issued before climbing.
Bouldering
- Boulderers must use a spotter when attempting moves with hazardous fall potential.
- No bouldering is permitted with hands above 10 feet (blue line).
- Boulderers must yield to other people behind and below them (so use a spotter).
